Initiation of new studio

Got everything set up, working and tested. We had two of the cast members from Up With People stay with us this last week. They were from Mexico and San Deigo. They were busy the entire week with classes, community service work and rehearsals. Saturday was a "family day" where the cast members and their host families could spend a bit of time together. Also, they needed to do laundry and some minor shopping. We did have time to put them in front of the lights and get a few pictures. One of the shots is here, to see the rest, go to my web-site: http://www.lonetreeimages.com/ .

Cost of a Wedding?

Just discovered a web site that will show the average costs of a wedding---by zip code!!
The link here is for a Cheyenne wedding (82009). It also breaks out the costs of the various components, including the photography.

Lovely Aspen Alley - Wyoming

Last weekend my wife & I went to Aspen Alley (southwest of Saratoga WY). Went to shoot an assisgnment for a H.S. senior. The aspens were still in color and we got lots of good pictures of her for her yearbook, etc.

This short distance has the tallest, straightest aspens right on the side of the road. The picture shows it empty, actually, there were several cars of people looking at the trees. But most of them parked on either end of the "alley."

Colorado Castle Wedding

Just finished processing the images from a wedding a few weeks ago. It was at the Dunafon Castle in Colorado. A lovely setting on Bear Creek. The wedding ceremony was on a small island in a pond just behind the castle. The castle's park extended out from there as the background. The Bride & Groom and guests enjoyed the grounds. There was even a hammock that the children enjoyed. Hidden in the mountains, just a few miles west of Morrison! Great place.
